"Once a Member, Always a Member." Once a person joins they remain a member for life and as long as they maintain a membership par share.
*Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. For the purposes of this definition, immediate family member includes step-parents, step-children, step-siblings, and adoptive relationships. Household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.
It is not necessary for the primary member to join the credit union in order for the immediate family or household member of the primary member to join. However, for the family tree to branch further, it is necessary for the immediate family member or household member to first join in order for that person's immediate family member or household member to join the credit union.
Immediate family members of a primary member are eligible to join. And once a family member joins and becomes a primary member, then their immediate family members are eligible to join.
